I'm Lupen, the artist behind Clary Sage Moon. My hometown is Portland, Oregon in the beautiful pacific northwest, where weekend walks to the Saturday Market or trips to the beach looking for agates and shells sparked creative ideas since I was a kid. I have also been blessed to live simply in some of the most beautiful places, The San Juan Islands for 15 years, Maui Hawaii and now Sonoma County in the San Francisco bay area. Since a young age I have been busy crafting, drawing, and putting things together. Over the years I have explored many art forms like stained glass, basketry, cold forged jewelry, pottery and photography. These days I mainly work with watercolors and occasionally acrylics, inspired by the natural world and expressions of the feminine spirit. Creator of the Mara Lunne tarot deck.
